Does someone could refer me to a good article where I can learn more about Market Cap ? I see the CPC listed #2 here : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ and knows it’s a good thing but I can not explain to others the how’s & why’s … Which is what I would like to do, thank you.
Talking about Coin Market Cap ?
The market cap yes, what is it & what does this mean …. Why BTC is not listed on the link I shown above … And why the CPC is not listed here : http://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/
Why does the CPC listed #325 in the grey area at the bottom … When that +$30,000 market cap could be #182 ?
Coinmarketcap.com has the same per coin price listed as chainz but they have not provided us our total supply yet. It’s a personal opinion of the owner of that site that coins that are POS are not real nor are they distributed fairly. Chainz.cryptoid.com is on the other hand the best blockchain explorer in the market today and what THEY show is accurate.
Simply put : where does that $30,000 coming from ? *since the wallet is not public yet and people haven’t really started transacting with the coin ?
The coins that ARE listed are ONLY the coins generated by the proof of stake process today. We will have more supply shown soon. New coins always have hurdles to overcome. This is just one of them. In fact I went round and round with him over the same subject with Fuelcoin. It took me almost 8 months before he gave in.
If Chainz.cryptoid.com is the best … Why it’s not listing some of the top coins we can see on coinmarketcap.com ?
I strongly encourage people to only evaluate based on accurate information which IS currently located on the chainz blockchain explorer site.
Some of those coins have created their OWN blockchain explorers. Some use other competing explorers.
Like if you look at blockchain.info? That is the bitcoin blockchain. That is ONLY bitcoin. A couple of years ago? Part of your development cost used to be creating a blockchain in addition to creating your coin. So some of the older coins won’t be on chainz. However the service is available to coins today. So. Most NEW coins choose to use their services.
All right, thanks Gary for those few answers. As I said … I was looking for informations to learn more on the subject and a webinar in the archives would not be a luxury … would love to hear you talk in details on the subject !
